THE CREATOR BEHIND THE CONCEPT
Concept Cubbyhouses and Sheds is owned and operated by Sam Tyson, a qualified carpenter / joiner with over 8 years experience and a lifelong passion when it comes to building, particularly with timber.
A 40 year old husband to Pip and father of two children both aged under 5, Sam understands the demands of even the smallest clients and goes above and beyond to ensure every project is completed to the highest level of quality, on time and on budget.
A born and bred Launcestonian, Sam has lived and worked in all states of Australia and after 14 years abroad, decided to return home to "the best place to live", his beloved Tassie.
After a corporate career spanning varying industries including hospitality, vehicle rental and advertising, Sam's desire to leave the suit and tie behind led to the undertaking of a carpentry and joinery apprenticeship which was wide and varied and included projects involving timber work, fabrication and installation of domestic and commercial joinery, carpentry and building construction work.
With the apprenticeship complete and his already vast skill set now further honed, Sam was presented with the opportunity to 'go it alone' and Concept Cubbyhouses and Sheds was borne.
